How to Make a Complaint or Compliment
You Have the Right to Comment about Your Health Care. If you have a Complaint or any Concern about the care or treatment you are receiving, or about our service, talk to the person in charge of your unit or raise your concerns with a health worker at the time of the problem. Quite often people’s concerns or problems can be dealt with quickly and without any formal processes.
If you are not comfortable raising your issues with the health worker or unit manager, you should contact our patient liaison officer while still an inpatient at Calvary or after you have been discharged. The patient liaison officer can be contacted on 6201 6819.
You can be assured your complaint will be treated quickly, very seriously and extremely fairly.
At Calvary we set out to provide you with high quality care and to work with you on your patient journey. We are disappointed when either our quality of care falls short of your expectations or we fail to communicate with you through your treatment and recovery.
If you feel we have not met your expectations then we would like to receive your complaint because we will use your experience as the basis to reviewing practices and procedures for the benefit of future Calvary patients.
