Code of Conduct
Calvary Hospital places great pride in the fact that staff embrace, in their everyday work, the sentiments embodied in the organisation's Mission and Values. While at work, an employee is representing, to clients and peers, Calvary and its values. What is acceptable conduct in a social setting may not be acceptable in the workplace. This Code of Conduct is designed to assist all employees to understand what is reasonable and acceptable in the workplace. The Mission and Values of Calvary Hospital ACT outline the behaviours and attitudes expected of all employees in the workplace, in all facets of their work. This document establishes in greater detail the rights and responsibilities of employees and the employer at Calvary. The detail in this document is legally binding on Public Hospital employees, as a condition of employment under the Public Sector Management Act. Those conditions are specified within Section 9 of the Act. It is binding on Private Hospital employees under relevant Territory and Federal legislation. |
