This is an exciting opportunity to undertake social work in an acute health care setting. You will provide, under supervision and direction, a broad range of services, including psycho-social assessment, brief therapeutic interventions, family meetings, community referrals/liaison, and clinical management. You are primarily responsible for providing social work services in medical areas but your responsibilities may not be limited to one area.
The successful applicant will work in close consultation with multi-disciplinary teams as well as clinicians from the community and other external agencies. They will also contribute to the work of the Social Work and Psychology Department within Calvary Healthcare ACT.

Eligibility/other requirements: An appropriate degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). New Graduates will be considered.

Calvary health Care ACT (CHC-ACT) is seeking a highly skilled, experienced and dynamic midwife to fill the above position. The successful applicant will be required to implement and provide leadership for our new Continuity of Midwifery Care Services (CMCS).
The CMCS will provide collaborative maternity care to approxametly 240 women per year. CHC- ACT is a baby friendly Health Accredited facility. The maternity Unit at CHC-ACT has approximately 1400 births per year and is well supported by consultant obstetricians, pediatricians and a strong core group of expereinced midwifery, Medical and Allied Health staff.

The opportunity exists for a dynamic, motivated person to fill the position of Registered Nurse Level 2 in our newly purpose built Intensive Care Unit at Calvary Health Care Public Hospital Bruce.
The successful applicant will have:
- Demonstrated skills and knowledge in Intensive Care Nursing.
- Greater than 3 years recent clinical experience in and Intensive Care setting.
- Post Graduates studies in a Critical Care area would be highly regarded.
The successful applicant will be contributing to the leadership team to provide excellence in nursing care to patients who are admitted to our Intensive Care/ Coronary Unit at Calvary Public Hospital Bruce.
